IT Systems Administrator

Cline Williams Wright Johnson & Oldfather, L.L.P., has an immediate opening for a driven, hardworking, Information Technology Systems Administrator to join our IT Team. The IT Systems Administrator shall be responsible for first and second tier support, receiving calls from staff and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Some travel will be required.

Requirements

3-7 years of prior experience in a related field is required.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desirable
Occasionally must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 20 to 30 pounds.

Other required skills and responsibilities include:

  • Extensive knowledge of computer software, hardware and information system networks.
  • Ability to install, upgrade, and configure software and hardware.
  • Create and maintain user accounts on the network, phone system, DMS, dictation system, accounting, and VPN systems according to firm security requirements.
  • Maintain servers, storage, switches, and WAN systems.
  • Maintain PC, virtual, and cloud environments, including deploying, creating, and updating.
  • Maintain library of system and software documentation, including software licensing, to ensure compliance.
  • Provide in-house training and support for all software.
  • Research new hardware and software products with possible law firm applications.
  • Coordinate special projects and implement new systems.
  • Respond to identified needs or requests from staff members and partners pertaining to all equipment needs.
  • Perform periodic assessments of staff and partner needs to determine the status of the firm’s information systems.
  • Report issues and suggest solutions to the Information Technology Director.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and problems in all information system areas and recommend and implement solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and related programs.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organization; ability to prioritize work and handle strict deadlines and multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to creatively problem solve.
  • Ability to confidently and effectively interact with clients, attorneys and other employees in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion and tact.

Salary range of $50,000 - $75,000 depending on experience and education, excellent benefits, including retirement plan with firm contribution, and the opportunity for professional development. Qualified individuals should submit resume to Human Resource Director. EOE
